The Vacuum Hold Down feature provides extra grip and stability to the material being cut and is especially valuable for lightweight materials. In addition to ARMS, the TITAN 3 is equipped with Vacuum Hold Down holes along the cutting strip. Contour cutting is an essential feature for anyone looking to cut out printed designs and can be paired easily with nearly any type of printing including solvent and dye sublimation printing. The optical eye, which is mounted on the carriage, triangulates the coordinates of your printed design and cuts a path around the contour of your printed graphic. The ARMS system involves an optical eye which locates pre-printed registration marks which are printed around a printed graphic. The TITAN 3 comes equipped with Automatic Registration Mark Sensor (ARMS) for contour cutting (cutting prints). ![]() Laser assisted contour cutting supported by most other cutting software. ARMS supported by VinylMaster Cut (included), Razorcut, and Dragoncut. TITAN 3 – Contour Cutting with Automatic Registration Mark Sensor. The TITAN 3 is equipped with all the same great features as the TITAN 2, including the precision servo motors and more. All Titan 3 models have variable speed and cutting force, and are perfectly suited for cutting a variety of material including adhesive vinyl, window film, hard paperboard, sandblast stencil, paint mask material, and much more. However, the 28 and 68 models have additional grit rollers locations to which allows for a narrower feed width to cut width variance. USCutter also offers the TITAN 3 ARMS vinyl cutter series with ARMS (Automatic Registration Mark Sensor) in a 28 and a 68 version, all of which have a max cut length of 300 inches. Therefore, the maximum cut width recommended for 54 media would be 45. For example, 54 wide material can be fed into the machine but 9 of media will be beyond the grip of the 45 grit & pinch rollers. With todays variety of media widths, it is important to understand feed width, cutting widths and the machines requirement to cut between the grit rollers. With 5 pinch rollers and grit rollers spaced 15 apart, the 54 Titan 3 clamps down on media as narrow as 15 and up to 60. With 60 media, USCutter recommends a maximum cut width of 54 to allow for reading of registration marks for contour cutting. The width between end caps is 60 1/8 which means it is capable of accepting and tracking 60 media from Oracal (59.843 actual width of Orafol 60 media). USCutter introduced the 54 titan 3 vinyl cutter to be paired with 54 and up digital printers. 54 TITAN 3 ARMS Contour Cutting Vinyl Cutter.
